WELCOME!

This is my first foray into the world of blogging and I figured that if there was anything I would want to talk about and would actually be able to have interesting comments on, it's travel.

For most people, I think travel is something that would be fun to do if they had the time or money.  For me, it's essential.  I think I would go insane (or more insane depending on who you asked) if I didn't get out and see a new bit of the world every now and then.  I'm no travel expert by any stretch of the imagination but I like to think that I look at traveling in a fun and unique light; not only visiting the "Must See" sites but also the random, out-of-the-way sites.

So I thought that I would share my travels with friends, family and anyone else who is interested.  Of course given that I have yet to win the lottery, I am sadly not constantly traveling :( but when I'm not I'll share stories from past trips or helpful tips that I've learned along the way.

Feel free to ask for advice, again I'm no expert but I might know something!  Thanks and enjoy.
